Investors with over 2 billion birr combined capital operating in S. Omo Zone

Addis Ababa, May 8 (WIC) - Investors with an aggregate capital of over two billion birr have been operating in various development sectors in South Omo Zone of SNNP State, according to zonal administration.

Zonal Chief Administrator and Investment Committee Chairperson, Nigatu Dansa said at the first investment forum of the zone that the investors have embarked upon animal resource development, fishery, agriculture, incense and gum, hotel services and mining, among others.

The zone is endowed with diverse investment options and provides the necessary support to investors, Nigatu said and called upon other investors to inject their capital in the zone.

According to zonal Information and Culture Coordination Main Department, investors ranking from one to three in investment activities in the zone were awarded at the forum, it was learnt.
