Addis Ababa, May 10, 2008 (WIC) - A
factory constructed to manufacture water purifying
chemical at a cost of 9.5 million birr in Mojjo town of
Oromia State has reportedly gone operational.
Public Relations Officer with Bishangari Purification Industries PLC Abrha Hailemicael told WIC that the factory has a capacity of producing 58.4 million packets of water purifying chemicals per annum.
The factory the first of its kind has created job opportunities to 65 people, the Officer said.
He said the sample produces of the factory have reportedly been under inspection by the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute and further added that it would eventually commence producing at full capacity.
