61 companies engaged in technology-related fields have set up a private sector cooperation forum under the guidance of Technology and Innovation Ministry.
The establishment of the forum is tailored for making the private sector part of the national digitization process of the economy.

Innovation and Technology Minister, Dr. Abreham Belay, on the establishing event, said the responsibility of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology is to solve the bottlenecks and create enabling conditions, adding that the private sector should lead the technology sector in building a digital economy.
Saying that the government is improving laws in the financial sector, Dr. Abreham called upon operators of the private sector to become competent entrepreneurs in the technology sphere, according to the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
