A Delegation of 76 Pakistani Business Companies to Visit Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 23, 2024 (Addis Walta) A delegation of 76 Pakistani business companies are expected to visit Ethiopia from May 26-31, 2024 as part of the second business and trade delegation to the country.

The spokesperson of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nebiyu Tedla on his weekly briefing indicated that the visit by the delegation of these business companies and prominent firms aims to explore trade and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

The Pakistani trade and investment delegation scheduled to visit Bole Lemi, Qilinto, and Adama industrial parks which are potential investment avenues for the companies.

In addition, Ambassador Nebiyu indicated that a three-day Ethio-Pakistan Business Forum, organized in collaboration with the Ethiopian Investment Commission, will be held in Addis Ababa.
The Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad played key role in organizing the event as part of Ethiopia’s economic diplomacy endeavors.

The business and trade delegation from various cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Sheikhupura will take part in the event, according to MFA of Ethiopia.
