Addis Ababa, April 13, 2022(Walta) – Adama Science and Technology University and the University of Genoa of Italy have agreed to create partnership in research and technology.
Ethiopia’s Ambassador in Italy, Demitu Hambisa, Deputy Mayor of Genoa, Massimo Nicolo, and representatives of the two universities had an online meeting today.
Ambassador Demitu noted the immense opportunities that would be created through establishing partnerships between Ethiopian and Italian higher education institutions.
The Deputy Mayor of Genoa appreciated the partnership and further pledged to facilitate support to make it a success.
The President of Adama Science and Technology University, Dr. Lemi Guta, and the Rector of the University of Genoa, Federico Delfino have also had a discussion on common issues between the two universities.
