Addis Ababa, April 26, 2022(Walta) – Ambassador Melaku Legesse discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector with the Republic of Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Marciano Silva Barberro.
Ambassador Melaku briefed the Minister on the measures being taken by Ethiopia to modernize the agriculture and rural development sector toward food self-sufficiency.
He said the two countries’ economic development is based on agriculture, which will help strengthen their brotherhood by exchanging experiences.
Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development said he would like to learn from Ethiopia’s experience in capacity building.
