Addis Ababa, May 17, 2021 (Walta) – The African Union (AU) has announced that it has prepared a 15-day digital campaign for the celebration of the 2021 African Day with the theme of #IAmAfrican.
African Union Youth Division within the Women, Gender and Youth Directorate have partnered with TikTok and Trace TV to organize the campaign.
The digital campaign aims to expand the African Union Commission’s (AUC) 2021 theme: “The AU Year of the Arts, Culture, And Heritage: Levers for Building Africa We Want.”
The campaign also encourages young people in Africa to creatively express their views on what makes them proudly African across various categories, fashion, makeup, dance, food, and music through digital alternatives.
The formation of the African Union will celebrate on, May 25, 2021.
