Addis Ababa, January 10, 2023 (Walta) – Chinese newly appointed Foreign Minister Qin Gang has arrived in Addis Ababa this morning for a working visit to Ethiopia.
Ethiopian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen welcomed Minister Qin Gang at Bole International Airport.
The new foreign minister work visit to Ethiopia is part of a weeklong trip to five African countries.
Foreign Minister Qin Gang will visit Gabon, Angola, Benin, Egypt, the African Union Headquarters and the League of Arab States Headquarters upon invitation.
In his work visit in Addis Ababa, the foreign minister will discuss with high level government officials of Ethiopia on bilateral relations between the two countries, according to MoFA.
