DBE Launches Training Program for Enterprises

Addis Ababa, March 22, 2021 (Walta) – The Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) has launched today a national training program for small and medium enterprises.

In his opening remarks, Bank’s President Yohannes Ayalew (Ph.D.) said that the Bank has started today providing a national training program for 2,500 trainees in different parts of the country.

He also noted that the training is part of the Bank’s ongoing reforms. “The training plays a significant role to modernize the financial management system of the enterprises,” he said, adding that “the training will focus on the business planning, finance and accounting management, balance sheet preparation, modern accounting, modern enterprise management, business management, market search and the like.”

According to the President, the relentless effort of the Bank to improve the economy and accelerate the nation’s prosperity is very encouraging. It is learned that the training will end on 17 March 2021.
