Addis Ababa, September 18, 2023, (Addis Walta) A delegation led by Malawian high government officials discussed with Industrial Park Development Corporation (IPDC) on issues that can be carried out with industrial projects service.
IPDC chief of staff, Fitsum Ketema, spoke with the members of the delegation on matters the two sides could cooperate.
In their discussion, the delegation briefed on developing and management of Ethiopian industrial parks and the long-term experience of industrial projects service (IPS) in the sector whereby the IPS could assist in consulting and conducting feasibility studies to establish industrial parks in Malawi.
In addition, the two sides reached a consensus to cooperate in the sector.
Moreover, they called on IPS to use its experience in feasibility studies and consulting to assist Malawi in setting up industrial parks in a short period of time.
The delegation expected to visit Hawassa and Bole Limi Industrial Parks, according to IPDC.
