Addis Ababa, November 1, 2021 (Walta) – Ethiopian Red Cross Society and International Committee of the Red Cross provide humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in the Amhara region.
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS), in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), provided humanitarian aid worth more than 16 million birrs to Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in WagHemra Zone, Ebnat city in Amhara regional state, ERCS said.
The humanitarian support includes food and non-food items for 3,000 families.
ERCS said each family was provided with a complete package of wheat flour, cooking oil, biscuits, lamps, blankets, cooking utensils, jerrycans, soap, and women’s sanitary pads, among others.
