Ethiopia and China hold a Business Cooperation Seminar yesterday in Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong Province.

The seminar Hold under the theme of ‘Ethiopia-China at 50: Ancient Civilizations’ New Partners,’ which aimed at enhancing the investment, trade, and tourism cooperation between Ethiopia and China’s Guangdong Province.

The seminar was held as part of the celebration of the golden jubilee of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and China.

Ambassador of Ethiopia to China, Teshome Toga stated the importance of expanding cooperation between Ethiopia and Guangdong, one of the leading Provinces of China in terms of GDP and Population.

Ethiopia’s Business opportunities and potential for cooperation were presented and promoted at the seminar by the Consulate General of Ethiopia in Guangzhou Ambassador Ewnetu B. Debela.

The Seminar brought together more than 150 participants, including government officials, diplomats, the Ethiopian community, Guangdong business associations, enterprises, universities, and the media, according to the Ministry of foreign affairs Ethiopia.
