Ambassador Yibeltal Aemero, Ethiopia’s ambassador to Sudan has appeared on ‘Al Arabiya Alhadath’ TV to talk about the latest developments in Tigray.
He recounted how the TPLF clique refused to accept a number of offers to resolve differences for the last couple of years.
The last treasonous attack against the Northern Command of the Ethiopian Defence Forces had to be properly dealt with a legal action to protect the sovereignty of the country.
He said the law enforcement operation has now been completed and man hunting the fugitives is underway.
The government’s main focus is to rebuild damaged infrastructure, and provide humanitarian assistance to those in need, he added.
Regarding the rehabilitation of those who have fled the country, he said, the Ethiopian government is working together with the government of Sudan.
