Addis Ababa, May 13, 2022 (Walta) – Ethiopia stands ready to welcome and create an enabling environment for committed investors said Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed.
The Prime Minister made the remark while inaugurating a malt factory established by Invivo Group at cost of 60 million euro at Bole Lemi Industrial Park based in Addis Ababa.
“The investment by Invivo Group at Ethiopia’s Bole Lemi Industrial Park that we inaugurate today is commendable. … Ethiopia stands ready to welcome and create an enabling environment for committed investors interested in operating at such a large scale” said the premier in a post in his official twitter account.
The premier hailed the malt factory as ‘key’ that support national import substitution efforts.
The malt factory produces 60,000 tons of malt per year while creating a backward linkage with over 50,000 farmers.
Invivo Group is a French multinational corporation operating in more than 30 countries.
