Addis Ababa, June 10, 2024 (Addis Walta) Ethiopia and Finland agreed to further strengthening their bilateral and multilateral relations.
Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of Finland, Ville Tavio, and the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, held discussion today.
They conversed on bilateral matters as well as relevant international issues, reflecting the mutual desire to strengthen the partnership between Ethiopia and Finland.
During their dialogue, Minister Tavio pointed out that Finland has intent to deepen and expand its trade and development cooperation with Ethiopia.
Ambassador Mesganu, on his part, invited Finland to participate in Ethiopia, particularly in the areas of trade and investment.
The two sides agreed to convene the Ethio-Finnish Joint Political Consultation in the near future, according to MFA of Ethiopia.
