Addis Ababa, May 27, 2024 (Addis Walta) The Ethio-Pakistan Business Consultation Forum is commenced today in Addis Ababa.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, launched the forum.
A delegation of more than 80 Pakistani businessmen, Ethiopian Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Gebremeskel Chala, senior officials from various government institutions, and representatives from the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce are taking part at the forum.
The forum and the Pakistani business delegation visit to Ethiopia aims to bolster bilateral relations and enhance trade and economic ties between Ethiopia and Pakistan, according to MFA of Ethiopia.
Ethio-Pakistani relations has shown significant progress in the past two years. In May 2023, Ethiopia opened its Embassy in Islamabad and Ethiopian Airlines started flying to Karachi at the same time.
