Ethiopia, South Korea Vow to Strengthen in Business, Investment

IDPC CEO Aklilu Tadesse, and South Korean Ambassador to Ethiopia, Kang Seokhee,

Addis Ababa, October 16, 2023 (Addis Walta) Ethiopia and South Korea discussed to further strengthening their strong relationship in the field of business and investment.

Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IDPC) CEO Aklilu Tadesse, and South Korean Ambassador to Ethiopia, Kang Seokhee, held a discussion on ways to further boost the long-standing relationship between the two countries through business and investment.

The CEO pointed out that working more closely than before will enable new South Korean investors to engage in various sectors, especially in the manufacturing sector.

South Korean ambassador to Ethiopia, Ambassador Kang Seokhee, on his behalf, indicated that development and investment cooperation should grow wider and bigger. He added that South Korea intends to continue to be a major investment partner with Ethiopia in general, in the industrial parks, in particular.

Following the discussion, an agreement has been reached to work together in the fields of training and education as well as other areas of partnership, according to IPDC.
