Ethiopian Private Businesses Participating in Dubai Gulf food 2021 Trade Fair

Addis Ababa February 24/2021 (Walta)– An Ethiopian delegation led by Trade and Industry State Minister Misganu Arga is taking part in a five-day Dubai Gulffood 2021 Trade Fair, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

At the annual trade fair held for the 26th time this year, 79 private businesses are showcasing their agricultural and processed agricultural products, it was learned.

The number of Ethiopian business participation has ever increased in the forum this year.

Ethiopia’s pavilion was officially opened in the presence of State Minister Mesganu Arga, Ethiopia’s Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Jerusalem Amdemariam, officials and exhibitors.

The Gulfood Fair is an international platform where exhibitors showcase their products and look for market opportunities in the Middle East, particularly in the United Arab Emirates.

The Fair hosts more than 5000 exhibitors and expects to draw 90 thousand professional visitors from diverse agro-processing industries while register more than $85 million in trade deals as observed in previous years.
