Addis Ababa, March 31, 2021 (Walta) – The Ethiopian National Football Team has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAF).
Ethiopia qualified for CAF after the match between Niger and Madagascar ended in a draw, while Cote d’Ivoire beat Ethiopia 3 to 1.
President SahleWork Zewde, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister, and higher officials congratulated the Ethiopian National Football Team for qualifying for CAF.
The national team qualified for the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Cameroun with 9 points.
