Addis Ababa, November 02, 2021 (Walta) – Ethiopian-American journalist Hermela Aregawi said foreign media coverage on the ongoing war in northern Ethiopia is unethical for excluding majority voices of the country.
“Watching how the Ethiopia story is being twisted has been a major teaching moment for me as an Ethiopian-American journalist.” She added.
The journalist noted on her twitter page that the people of Tigray are dying in a war that doesn’t serve them.
Those who claim to speak for the people are really speaking for their oppressors, Hermela underlined.
