Addis Ababa, 14, 2022 (Walta) – A humanitarian convoys of 50 trucks are on its way to Mekelle according to the World Food Program (WFP).
The humanitarian convoy consists of 47 trucks carrying food, nutrition and other life-saving supplies while the remaining three trucks are fuel tankers.
The journey is so far smooth with support from all authorities posted the agency on in its official twitter page.
The Ethiopian government has announced a unilateral humanitarian truce in order to facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid in to Tigray recently.
