Addis Ababa, March 16, 2023 (Walta) – Senior officials and experts of international institutions are discussing on policy options for transitional justice in Ethiopia by enhancing perspectives from international experience, at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The forum, which is organized by the African Union and the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice, is expected to play a vital role for the Policy Options for Transitional Justice in Ethiopia, and the African Union transitional justice policy.
Ethiopian state minister for the ministry of Justice Alemante Agidew said that Transitional justice plays an important role to achieve justice and bring reconciliation to get out of differences and conflicts.
Although, the transitional justice is implemented based on the Ethiopians` needs and initiatives, looking at international experiences and enhancing perspectives from international experts are crucial for its success, the state minister added.
