Addis Ababa, February 18, 2022 (Walta) – Mines and Petroleum Minister, Takele Uma stated that Italy has pledged a 20 million birr financial assistance to Ethiopia in support of construction of Assosa Marlble Park and Assosa Marble Training Center in Benshangul Gumuz Region.
Takele held discussions with Ambassador of Italy to Ethiopia, Agostino Palese who announced the 20 million support from his country as per the promise made so far to assist building of the Marble Parks and Training Center in Assosa.
The Minister also announced that Ethiopian trainees will travel to Italy from next week to attend training in Marble profession.
The Minister added that the work we are doing to increase our educated workforce will also continue to intensify.
