National Meeting, Public Procession Mark 110th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung

Addis Ababa. April 18, 2022(Walta) – A national meeting and a public procession of Pyongyang City took place at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang, the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

North Korea celebrated the 110th anniversary of the birth of late founder Kim Il Sung with fireworks, a procession, and an evening gala in Pyongyang’s main square, with thousands of people in colorful traditional dress singing and dancing.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, attended the events.

The tribune of honor was taken by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly, Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary for Organizational Affairs of the WPK Central Committee, and Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet.
