Addis Ababa, January 1, 2022 – Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Zhao Zhiyuan said as comprehensive strategic cooperative partner, no matter how the internal or external situation of Ethiopia may change, China will always stand firmly with the Ethiopian people in solidarity.
Amb. Zhao Zhiyuan in his New Year Messages noted that the outgoing year of 2021 witnessed, with the commitment and guidance of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the two countries enjoyed frequent high level exchanges consolidating political mutual trust, continuously supporting each other on issues of core concerns, achieving fruitful outcomes in practical cooperation and fighting COVID-19 in solidarity.
He further said that China- Ethiopia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership has kept growing in both depth and width, setting a shining example of china Africa relations.
“In the New Year, Ethiopia china friendship and cooperation is faced with huge opportunities. As the ambassador of china to Ethiopia I am looking forward to working with all friends in Ethiopia for a better future, jointly bringing china Ethiopia bilateral relations to a new high.”, he said.
