Addis Ababa, October 6/2022 (Walta) – FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed accorded a warm welcome to the President of Kenya, William Ruto, upon his arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, for an official working visit.
It is expected that during his stay in Ethiopia, President William Ruto will have discussions with senior government officials about bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
The fact that President William Ruto started his first official working visit to East Africa from Ethiopia after his inauguration indicates that Addis Ababa and Nairobi are countries with a long history of cooperation and strong friendship.
