Addis Ababa, May 18, 2021 (Walta) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has launched the 2021 Green Legacy Campaign at the Prime Minister’s Office today.
The Government plans to plant seven billion seedlings this year, out of which 4.5 billion seedlings are planned to be planted in Oromia State.
It was noted that one billion seedlings will be planted neighboring countries.
Prime Minister Abiy has discussed on the legacy with regional administrators, ministers and stakeholders.
The public is urged to participate actively for success of the legacy.
