Addis Ababa, April 15, 2022 (Walta) – President Sahlework Zewede called on Ethiopia and Israel to further cement their longstanding relationship with expanded engagements in investment, agriculture and health sectors.
The President made the remarks on Thursday while receiving the medical professionals and members of the Israeli parliament who have been visiting conflict-affected areas in Ethiopia to provide support for the reconstruction efforts of damaged health institutions.
The Israeli delegation comprising members of the Knesset and health professionals has so far visited conflict-affected districts in Gondar and held discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen, officials of the University of Gondar, and members of the House of peoples Representatives.
