The two discussed bilateral and regional issues.
The leaders will also participate in the Financing African Economies Summit tomorrow.
Ethiopia has been represented by President Sahle-Work and Finance Minister Ahmed Shede.
Leaders of several African countries, Representatives of G7 and G20 countries, leaders of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the African Development Bank are expected to attend the Summit.
