Teklit Tesfay-The Guardiola Lookalike from Ethiopian

We are not here to talk about his football successes but his lookalikes. The football genius has got lots of lookalikes-in fact 5 including Teklit Tesfay (aka Atakilti)-the cultural musician from Ethiopia.

Playing Masinko, single-stringed Ethiopian traditional musical instrument, Atakilti attracted audience across social media platforms couple of week ago.

Both Atakilti and Pep Guardiola have lean and athletic body built, oval-shaped with well-defined cheekbones and a strong jawline, well-groomed beard complimenting their bald heads and light to medium olive complexion.

But Pep is Spanish football wizard intoxicating fans with breathtaking style of play and tactics while the Ethiopian musician, Atakilti, making couples’ wedding memorable and joyful.

In one occasion while he was playing the instrument and as singer at a wedding, attendants recorded and released the video on social media. The next day he has become a trending topics among Ethiopians who loves European football.

Speaking to Addis Walta, Atakilti confessed that many people told him he looks like him, which he has no idea who Pep Guardiola at that time. He said “First time I saw him, I was shocked. He looks very much like me!” “From that moment on I become Manchester City’s fan” said Atakilti with a broad smile on his face.

The Ethiopian cultural musician, Atakilti, didn’t hide that since his video emerged on social media, lots of people booked him to play at their wedding. He jokingly said that everywhere I go, people smile and told me I look like Pep Guardiola.

His look bought him fame beyond Ethiopia that even some international media called and asked him if he is Ethiopian.
