Addis Ababa, March 22, 2021 (Walta) – The first transport sector investment conference of its kind will be held in Addis Ababa for two days starting from March 26, 2013, according to the Ministry of Transport.
According to a statement issued by the Minister of Transport, 44 projects in the fields of road development, road transport, logistics, railway, and aviation have been identified and there will be in-depth discussions on opportunities for the government to work with the private sector.
She said the 44 projects identified for the participation of the private sector have been studied in terms of feasibility and are open to competition with the participation of the private sector.
The transport sector investment conference will create favorable conditions for investment in the private sector, she adds.
About 3 of the world’s major logistics and port services companies are expected to attend the conference, which is expected to be attended by about 300 investors, federal and international institutions.
