Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia has today announced a committee, which will be responsible for job creation and investment, office the PM said.
The Committee, which has the PM as a leader will include Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen, Chief Administrators of the nine regions, mayors of Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa, two representatives of the PM office, and 10 ministerial offices.
Unemployment and slowdown of investment in the country are among the pressing issues the PM said are problems which need solutions.
