Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed met with Patrick Gaspard, President of the Open Society Foundations at his office today.
The Premier briefed Gaspard about the progress of reforms currently taking place in Ethiopia, according to Office of the Prime Minister.
Gaspard for his part expressed his admiration of the developments underway in the country.
He also vowed the commitment of the Open Society Foundation to support Ethiopia fulfill its democratization objectives, particularly in the areas of justice sector reform and strengthening of institutions.
Open Society Foundations is an international grant making network founded by business magnate George Soros.
It financially supports civil society groups around the world, with a stated aim of advancing justice, education, public health and independent media.
