Premier condemns terrorist attack in Kenya

On behalf of the Government of Ethiopia, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed strongly condemned the senseless violent attacks committed on innocent civilians in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the families of the bereaved, and to all Kenyans in this time of mourning, according to a statement issued by Office of the Prime Minister.

At least 14 people were killed when gunmen attacked the compound in the Westlands district of Kenya’s capital yesterday.

The Somalia-based militant group al-Shabab said it was behind the attack.
