Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is currently attending a discussion with competing political parties.
This discussion platform which is unique to Ethiopia’s political history and narrative, follows the initial meeting hosted by the Prime Minister a few months ago.
Today’s meeting, according to one of the conveners Yeshiwas Assefa (Chair, Blue Party) has been organized with a key objective of nurturing the peaceful exchange of political thought in this period of political transition.
Discussion papers will be presented by the leadership of four political parties including Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The other expected presenters are Professor Birhanu Nega, Chairman of Patriotic Ginbot 7, Dr. Aregawi Berhe, Chief of Tigray Democratic Coalition Party, and Dr. Merera Gudina,
