The House of Federation (HoF) said the government is committed to build capacity of democratic institutions to properly and sustainably resolve problems being observed in the country.
Speaker of the Federation, Keria Ibrahim, made the remark at a consultative meeting held today to review the implementation of the ongoing nationwide reform within democratic institutions across the nations.
Speaking to FBC, she said the government will provided support to build capacity and strengthen democratic institutions at all levels in order to achieve sustainable peace and reinforce national unity.
Democratic institutions are expected to be independent and advocators of unity, the Spears told the participants who were represented from all institutions across the country.
The participants for their part underscored the need for awareness raising training to prevent human rights violations.
