The House of People’s Representatives has approved over 33.98 billion birr additional budget today.
The additional budget was approved to fully cover planned capital projects in the year, make payments to the capital projects finalized, and for constructing the road and electric line to Tulu Kapi Gold Development joint project.
It will also be used to prevent and withstand natural and human made disaster in the country as well as to finance executive offices that face shortage of budget.
Some 16.99 billion birr of the total was obtained from International Development Association- World Bank, and the remaining sum in aid.
