Scholars say Ethiopian Universities shall strengthen ties with international institutions

In an international forum organized by Jimma University, scholars, who came from different countries commended that universities in Ethiopia should strengthen ties with international scholars and institutions.

Coordinator of the Forum, Prof. Amare Desta said that the forum, which is organized for 10th time have participants, who came from different countries to discuss on quality of education and knowledge transfer without payment.

Countries where the scholars came from are England, America, New Zealand, India and Africa.

The scholars have presented different papers and research findings, in which 300 hundred Jimma university students took part.

There are efforts to work with Bahir Dar University, he said calling other universities to take the opportunity.
Acting University of Gimma University, Kora Tusnen said that Jimma University has been taking part in international forum since 2005 E.C.

Students of IT, Business and health are beneficiaries.

The forum, which started today, will be concluded tomorrow.
