A consultation meeting to review the implementation of the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) started in Addis Ababa this morning.
Leaders of the parties to the agreement are in attendance of the meeting chaired by Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedu Andargachew.
State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hirut Zemen, yesterday met Addis Ababa-based Ambassadors of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Member States to discuss about the preparatory activities for the meeting.
During the discussion Hirut called upon the Ambassadors to maximize efforts and to play their parts to maintain peace and stability in South Sudan in order bring sustainable development in the region.
