Leaders of East African countries arrive for inauguration of Unity Park

Leaders of invited East African Countries are arriving in Addis Ababa to attend the official inaugural ceremony of the Unity Park within the Grand National Palace. 

Sudan’s Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdock, South Sudan President Salva Kiir and President of Somalia Mohammed Abdulahi, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, and Ugandan President Yuweri Museveni have so far arrived.

Up on their arrival they are being warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Foreign Minister Gedu Andargachew and other higher government officials.

Other leaders of the East African Sub-region are also expected to arrive and attend the inaugural ceremony later today.
