Dr. Wu Minshian, who recently published a book entitled “My decade long stay in Africa,” indicated that Ethiopia has shown considerable leap forward in the health sector during the last decade.
The writer has served as a physician with the Tirunesh Dibaba Beijing Hospital and he led team of Physicians both here and in China.
Ethiopia has achieved tangible results in terms of expansion of health centers and the service in general as compared to other sub-Saharan countries.
“The country also has managed to train more human power as compared to the past,” he remarked.
In his book he indicated that the role that Chinese physicians have played in health sector in Africa since the 1960s has contributed its share for the growth China- Africa relations.
