The Ethiopian Medical Professionals Association has urged strong measures to be taken against medical errors that are unethical and are causing damage up on the lives of people.
Speaking at the 53rd annual meeting, Association President Dr. Gemechis Mamo, said lack of ethical medical service is posing various challenges up on the public and taking measures against such challenges is of vital importance.
He noted that side by side to training more professionals in the area, quality education should be given due emphasis.
Supplying the necessary utensils for hospitals, providing adequate responses to questions raised by the physicians, and lack of good governance are the main challenges in the area.
On the sidelines of the meeting, exhibition depicting various areas in the field of medicine was on display.
