About 600 Ethiopians return home from Saudi Arabia

About 600 undocumented Ethiopian migrants have returned home from Jizan, Saudi Arabia, today.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) facilitated their safe repatriation, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a related development, about 415 Ethiopians are expected to return from Puntland today.

Additional 517 Ethiopian nationals are also expected to arrive home soon.

Ethiopian nationals use Puntland as a route towards Yemen and onwards to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States.
