City to build a library with holding capacity of 3500 people

The Addis Ababa city is planned to build a library with a holding capacity of 3500 people, the Addis Ababa Mayor office announced.

The library, which is believed to serve 10 thousand people on daily basis, will be built at Arat Killo in front of the Parliament. It lies on 38,687 hectares of land, will have slot for children, youth and elderlies to read and green areas.

There would also be training center for authros, and artists to train along with three meeting halls with holding capacity of 100 each.

The library will be finalized into years.
