Minister of the Minister of Peace Muferiat Kamil said that plating seedlings and taking care of them will be vital to sequester high amount of carbon.
In a bid to recover the decreasing level of forest cover and fill the swampy areas with forest in Ethiopia, seedlings have been planted by staff members of many government institutions this season.
Staffs of the Ministry of Peace have planted 2 thousand seedlings today.
On the occasion, Ministry of Peace Muferiat said that different subordinate institution of the ministry will also plant additional 5 thousand seedlings until the coming August.
