The Ministry of health has officially unveiled a notice banning smoking in its compound, agencies answerable to it and federal hospitals since today.
The notice is announced by the Minister, Dr. Amir Aman, today following the new food and drugs control proclamation which banned smoking in public places.
There was a prior proclamation which banned smoking but was loosely practiced.
