Addis Ababa, June 14, 2022(Walta) – Ambassador Aklilu Kebede, Consul General of the Ethiopian Consulate in Dubai and the Northern Emirates had a meeting today with Global Islamic Financial Services (GIFS) Managing Director Ajmal Ayub, and Options Manager Mario Malik.
They have discussed opportunities in Ethiopia to form a public-private partnership (PPP) in equity investment.
In addition to its newly opened office in Dubai, Global Islamic Financial Services has offices in South Africa and the United Kingdom, and other African countries supporting development projects in countries that have significant Muslim populations.
Ambassador Aklilu has pledged to bring the project proposals of Global Islamic Financial Services to the attention of appropriate authorities in Ethiopia before the commencement of the pre-investment visits in the country.
