Addis Ababa, October 16, 2023 (Addis Walta) FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Chinese Premier, Li Qiang discussed on ways of enhancing economic cooperation between Ethiopia and China.
During the discussion, the two leaders highlighted on ways of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries, according to Office of the Prime Minister-Ethiopia.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed shared the multifaceted growth objectives of the government and development achievements gained so far.
He also underlined the need to further expand trade partnership with China.
Prime Minister Li Qiang, on his part, underscored that Ethiopia and China are developing and emerging economies that can seek ways of bolstering mutual growth and development.
Following the bilateral meeting, the two leaders presided over the signing of 12 cooperation agreements and 2 letters of intent in different fields.
