Addis Ababa, November 8, 2023 (Addis Walta) State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, held discussions today with Mr. Mian Atif Sharif, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ethiopia.
Their discussion was mainly on ways of bolstering the long-standing relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Mesganu Arga underscored the need to further strengthen the long-standing bilateral relations on trade and investment, aviation, and cultural and technical assistance. Stating the conducive investment climate in Ethiopia Ambassador Mesganu called for more Pakistani investment.
Ambassador Mian Atif, on his part, expressed the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and pointed out the Pakistani Government’s desire to enhance the existing relations in bilateral and multilateral flora, according to MFA of Ethiopia.
The Pakistani Ambassador acknowledges the huge investment potential in Ethiopia in the fields of agriculture, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and construction sector and stated that there is a great opportunity for Pakistani investors.
