Addis Ababa, November 10, 2023 (Addis Walta) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Saudi Royal Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed bilateral and regional matters including Ethiopia’s development and economic reforms as well as its role in the region.
Prime Minister Abiy on his social media account wrote “Our two countries have many strategic interests to cooperate on and to this end, we have reached an understanding to establish a high-level joint ministerial committee”
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also indicated that Saudi Arabia supports Ethiopia’s macroeconomic reforms through debt restructuring; energy cooperation and development finance and investments.
